Every time I see a news post I seriously want to cry. I’m devastated & heartbroken for what this country has turned into. Everything that is happening is truly disgusting, & makes me feel physically ill. This isn’t a country I can be proud of anymore. It’s a shameful stain on mankind.

Been fighting a cold the last few days, so I decided to make a big crockpot of vegetable soup today. I need to get rid of this sickness quick since I have a 3 hour long MRI on Wednesday. I’ve rescheduled it twice due to different illnesses. I don’t want to reschedule again.

All I’ve seen since Thanksgiving is a frozen winter hell. Indiana skipped right over fall this year, & went straight into winter. Hoosiers grew up with this weather, & still act like they’ve never seen a snowflake when they drive in it. I’m from Oklahoma, & can drive in it just fine. I don’t get it.

Maddie & I seriously just send each other cute animal videos, & adorable animal pictures, daily on Instagram. We even have a dream to buy a lot of land away from people to create an animal sanctuary for all animals. This is my dream friendship.

We’ve already gotten about 5 inches of snow since it started this morning, & it’s supposed to snow until tomorrow. Every major highway in the state is currently closed due to pileups. It’s so damn cold. I’m going to cocoon in my blankets with my dogs, & spend the rest of the day watching movies.
