We’ve already gotten about 5 inches of snow since it started this morning, & it’s supposed to snow until tomorrow. Every major highway in the state is currently closed due to pileups. It’s so damn cold. I’m going to cocoon in my blankets with my dogs, & spend the rest of the day watching movies.

Thanksgiving tomorrow afternoon in a very small house with more than a dozen people. I’m definitely going to be sneaking out to the porch for some cannavape hits. That’s the only way I’m going to get through all the stress, & anxiety. Plus I’ll have football to watch. 🌚😣😫

I’ve spent the entire day it feels like on Wayfair looking at different furnishings for the house. I want to redo my room to be like a dark cave because it’s got so much light that shines in at all times. I’m in my gargoyle era.

I’m not sure if it’s just this week, this month, or overall this year but every adult I see on social media, or in person, seems to have reached a level of hostile sarcasm. We all just seem absolutely done, under caffeinated, tired, & throw hands irritated past giving a shit.

Ahem. It's the job of the President to appoint DAs - with advice and consent from the Senate.
The President can ignore that rule - but only once (per district) and only for 120 days.

I’ve already planned out everything I’m bringing to Thanksgiving in a couple weeks, & have all the ingredients purchased. I feel like the only person who plans weeks ahead. I legit think up a menu, & shop way ahead of time because I always feel like I’ll forget something otherwise.

I’ve had @thisisloveless.bsky.social new EP playing on a constant loop since it released. It’s amazing. It’s one of those albums where I truly can’t pick a favorite song. It makes me excited for his next full length album when that day comes. FINALLY something good happened in 2025.

Finally after 2 weeks of feeling like crap I’m finally getting over the sinus bullshit I’ve been dealing with. My autoimmune disease caused my vaccines to attack my body which caused me to get sick. Multiple Sclerosis was making my body run amok.

Got to sit close to the stage for Chad Daniels. He had me laughing to the point I was wheezing after being sick all week. Definitely was a hilarious show, & so worth it.

Seeing the photos & videos of all the marches for #NoKingsDay is making me happy. Those are the people I’m proud of. Those are the people I’m glad to have in this world. We’re in this fight together, & they can’t stop us all.

I really should buy a Dutch oven because I really want to make my dad’s beer bread right now. Beer bread goes amazing with soups & stews. He always makes it when he makes Irish stew, & I’ve been craving stew now that it’s fall. He didn’t make it last time I was back home 🥺

Decided to make 4 cheese ravioli with meatballs & mozzarella in the crockpot for dinner today. The last few months I’ve been eating dinner in the mid afternoon, & not eating again until about 7am. Now that it’s fall I’m enjoying all the crockpot recipes. Makes life so much easier.

I blame @juliancomeau.bsky.social for my addiction to Fruit Riot’s frozen sour grapes. Pretty sure I’ve burned away my taste buds thanks to the sour powder, & I’m pretty sure I don’t care. Worth it.

One of my pet peeves is when women advertise something by tapping their nails on whatever the product is. For some reason it irritates me beyond belief, & I see it in almost every ad or post on social media. I hate it.
