Definitely don't see how this could be used to enforce racism or anything. No, not at all. /s

This would also probably open up so many lawsuits.
You're not asking trans people. You're asking all people. This affects us all. Anyone could be barred from services based on appearance. Since, surprisingly we all have a fecking appearance

Remember, you're likely here because of immigration.

If there was no immigration, your country would likely not exist.

There is nobody in any official position who will help Palestinians. They're all bought off or otherwise compromised. That's the bottom line.

@leximcmenamin.com set up a GoFundMe for the Teen Vogue staff that recently were let go. Consider supporting them, to make it a little easier for them in this transitional period.

Did a review for 'Zombie Strippers' too. That one's not as bad (still bad, but, not as bad).

A ★½ review of Zombie Strippers! (2008)
Decided to watch this and '2-Headed Shark Attack' for Halloween. Honestly, this was better than I expected, but not as fun as I had hoped. Nevertheless, wasn't bored through most of it (some of the st...

Needing help finding a film. Was going to look one up, but can't remember it's name. I know it's from the Middle East (can't remember which country), and the poster has a nude green woman on it in the lower third (meant to be something from folklore/mythology, I think).

Let me know if you find it.

So, according to Spin, Joe Talbot's now called 'Tlabot'.

Wasn't expecting @jamesgunn.bsky.social to shout out Aesop Rock and Ghais Guevara.

Also, Open Mike Eagle seemed to appreciate the shout out too:

Glad to know I have similar taste in music than James.
James Gunn shouted me and some other indie rappers and akademiks made it weird

Well. Watched 'Zombie Strippers' and '2-Headed Shark Attack' to celebrate Halloween.

'Zombie Strippers'
Not good, but entertaining. SFX were (mostly) great.

'2-Headed Shark Attack'
I want my hour and a half back.

@katymontgomerie.com You might be interested in these articles. The BBC have done 2 articles on a recent sexual assault case that are filled with blatant transphobia.

It bothers me greatly that the BBC will allow this to be published.

So, Premier League's no longer working with Stonewall, and are going to do their own LGBTQ+ campaign.

My hopes are not high.

Although, have been critical of the rainbow laces campaign, so maybe we'll have something that actually does something.
On the Premier League's website to set up a Fantasy Football account, and the gender options need work, to say the least. It still amazes me how people fail to even have 'other' as an option.

I already donate to Wikimedia (and also to Miraheze). Wiki's are a really important thing for preserving information.
I "celebrated" the launch of GPT-5 by donating to the Wikimedia Foundation.

Support Wikipedia, the *actual* knowledgebase which gives people's brains superabilities. It's far from perfect, but it's the best thing we've got!

And my review for 'Naked Education'. I don't even know why people hated the review so much. Perhaps 7/10 was too high, maybe 6 is better, but still.

My review of 'Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2' is loved too. /s

Think people liked my review of 'The Force Awakens'.

To be fair, it's really, really bad. 2017 me wasn't the best at explaining what made films good or bad.

Article by Professor Andrew Sinclair on why testing for the SRY gene isn't a good way for sex testing.

theconversation.com/world-athlet...
World Athletics’ mandatory genetic test for women athletes is misguided. I should know – I discovered the relevant gene in 1990
World Athletics says its genetic test for women ensures ‘the integrity of women’s sport’ – but science does not support this overly simplistic idea.

I have now identified the colourist of these covers. It's Andrew Hinnebusch.

Couldn't identify who it was, even asked Jim Balent (who illustrated the covers), and he didn't know. Couldn't get in touch with Steve Buccellato (who owned Electric Crayon, who were credited on the issues).

Starmer really is a moral vacuum. Utterly devoid of any principles.

Palestinians either deserve statehood, or they don’t. Whether Israel continues to murder them by starvation or not is totally irrelevant to their claim on statehood
