Great session out in Woolston this morning. Over 2000 leaflets delivered talking about the great work Labour is doing in Southampton - £20m funding for Weston, renters rights, action on cost of living, protections for leaseholders.

There are still good people today in Tescos chatting at the till to Billy a local bus driver. He asked why I had 50 chocolate oranges
along with other treats. I explained Christmas Hampers and how we do them for Charity at Christmas .
As I paid he jumped in and gave me £30 of vouchers. ⭐️⭐️

Today the Leader of the Council Alex Winning visited The The Big Difference Shirley Warren food pantry.
So much is going on to reduce food wastage in the City. Open Monday to Friday 1-4pm worth a visit. Beccy and Kim look forward to you visiting. Every day different stuff on offer.

Today we celebrate all things Merchant Navy,Hollyrood Church deemed the seafarers church over the years. Lovely to see so many attend. Kate Powell Port Chaplin took the short service. We will remember those lost at sea those who risk their lives on the sea and all connected. #civicduty #merchantnavy

Yesterday I had the pleasure of helping at the Big Difference, they donated over 12000 Easter buckets to schools. Amazing job, Cllr Payne and Sue Blatchford popped in to help load.Thanks to all the fantastic people who volunteered to help. #CommunityMatters
