Three foxes sat on a log, using it as a sleigh, they are sat one behind the other, holding on to each other whilst the one at the front holds onto a branch from the log. In the distance, there are some fir trees and also another fox or squirrel who is skiing? Painting used as vintage postcard c.1900.

Hymn for Every Version of You This New Year Be more present for the universes inside you. Make more pilgrimages to the interiors of your own heart. Clear away the smoke, the wreckage that tries to convince you that you do not deserve joy. Tell your friends you love them more often. Tell good people they are needed; include yourself in that list. When love comes knocking, do not doubt it. Instead open the door with warmth and let it in. When grief claws at your window, don't ignore it. Instead, hold it close and let it stay as long as it needs. Do not let the lamp of hope dim in the chaos that descends. May peace know you by name. May you be greeted by birdsong often.
