Political vengeance. Plain and simple.

Trump cares absolutely nothing for good people who are simply struggling to survive.

Isn't it a bit absurd to assume all people of a particular ethnic group are suspect because of single criminal gang. Following that logic, every American should come under scrutiny.

How can it possible be right for us to take ownership of the oil under the ground in a country 2,000 miles away.

If this is okay, what's to prevent Russia or China from deciding to take our oil?

People think b/c RoundUp is on the shelves at Home Depot, it's okay to use. It's not.

Glyphosphate is a known carcinogen. Banned in Europe.

Bayer has been fighting to hide reality from those who buy it. Homeowners. Industrial scale farmers.
Only here in the U.S. are profits valued over people.
I helped strike language from a key spending bill that would’ve shielded Bayer from legal accountability.

But the fight is far from over. SCOTUS must now weigh in.

Bayer is lobbying hard to stop states from putting warning labels on Roundup.

This isn't about politics. It's about right and wrong.

And WHY are there thousands of I.C.E. agents in Minnesota? To intimidate and terrorize. That's why.
“They are outnumbering our own local police officers,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar tells Jen Psaki, noting that Minnesota now has more ICE agents than the combined police forces of Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

When I was in high school, I came across a volume of Katherine Mansfield's short stories in the library. A revelation. This was the way I wanted to write. Then and now. With clarity and insight. Have not quite managed it. But, then, I am not a genius!
"Looking back, I imagine I was always writing. Twaddle it was too. But better far write twaddle or anything, anything, than nothing at all."

Imagining myself in her situation, I'd be absolutely terrified. In the same situation, sure, I'd do the same...fleeing for my life!

Who did these officer-thugs think she was...that she deserved to be accosted so violently? What's with stalking over to the car and trying to rip the door open?
A few thoughts on this important NYT analysis:

First, the officer who killed Good is shown running up the *passenger* side of the car seconds before he killed her. He shot her first from the front, then the driver's side. This means he *put himself* in the path of the vehicle when he shot her.
