Hualien, Taiwan's Chilaibi Lighthouse, was destroyed by Allied bombing in the Asia-Pacific during WW2. It was rebuilt in 1963.

Cereus Peruvianus cactus in bloom in my yard! This cactus blooms primarily at night, with blooms that only typically open once, then subside while the new flush of blooms opens the next night. The bees absolutely swarm the flowers at first light!
