Whilst looking for books age 5-8 I came across books by Amelia Cobb, only according to Nosy Crow she's not an actual person! They can't be AI (the earlier ones are too old) so why the anonymity, I wonder? 🤔

I preordered The Island at the Edge of Night by Lucy Strange from @bertsbooks.bsky.social but have only just got round to it, despite receiving it last April. Two days in and I'm wondering why I took so long! I don't think Lucy is on Bluesky but she's a wonderful children's author. 📚💜🤍
