It's definitely good that the scope of my writing keeps narrowing in the interest of writing an actually good story, but it is a little disappointing to drop the lofty, big picture ideas. I can come back to those later though.

I think it's okay for cis people to write trans characters, HOWEVER, they should do at least 36 interviews with trans writers, get two blurbs or endorsements from both a fiction and non-fiction trans writer, and have 12 months of real world, in person experience with being critiqued beforehand.

Whenever something is monetized, it usually becomes useless. I don't think this was as much the case pre 2000 and I'm not 💯 on what changed.
