Hey there, Holocaust survivors, it was all just a big misunderstanding.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

Montage of 19 clips of Trump insulting, berating, demeaning and attacking female reporters over the past few months. Part 1.

Trump, Epstein, Maxwell and others’ obsession with abusing girls was never about sexual pleasure. They enjoyed the power and control, the manipulation of people who couldn’t fight back. It’s no different from what T is doing to MAGA.

The MAGA who are shouting “But Clinton!” clearly don’t remember #MeToo. It doesn’t matter what party, if you hurt children and abused women, you must resign and be prosecuted.

Meanwhile, Susan Collins’ staff has released a boatload of positive feel good press that makes her look like an important good guy. We’re not buying it.

He barely knew Epstein.
He knew him, but he threw him out.
Epstein wasn’t so bad.

What comes next?

Why do people give food to food banks and support go fund me for health expenses, but balk at paying taxes that would handle that much more efficiently? We have allowed the rich to have their cake and eat it too. They keep the tax money earmarked for those programs because we pick up the slack.

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

Huge shoutout to Barack Obama — finally saying what we’ve been shouting for years. This fight for democracy, truth, and decency Thank you for always standing up for the good fight. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

We pay a fair amount in taxes in part to ensure our neighbors would have access to food. Well, the system was deliberately broken, and because we are nice people, we picked up the slack. Meanwhile, the $ was diverted to rich people, ballrooms, and jets. SNAP was privatized. Well played MAGA.

Never mind IQ tests, age requirements or term limits. Candidates for office must be able to pass a technology use exam.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.

Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:

* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

And a subsidy for farmers with surplus food, and for grocery stores and all who supply them.
Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

“The president is why life is more expensive today.”

“The president was besties with Epstein.”

Messaging isn’t hard and makes you wonder why Dems aren’t saying this every day.

#MEPOLITICS: Some of the responses to Pfeiffer’s reasoned analysis of the mistakes the Democratic Party keeps making in state/national races are disconcerting, including laughable claims Mills is “progressive”.

I sincerely hope—if they are actually humans—they are merely a misguided vocal minority.
Dan Pfeiffer
For the life of me, I cannot figure out what the hell the Senate Democrats are doing in Maine — the most important Senate race in the country. Their decision to back Janet Mills suggests they have learned no lessons from our loss in 2024.

Are Democrats About to Blow It in Maine?
By backing Janet Mills over a grassroots outsider, party leaders may be repeating the same mistakes from 2024
