I’m Jane. I'm a 28
yo woman from Aotearoa.

I work as a Mobile Software developer. My hobbies include, video games, Magic the Gathering, and painting warhammer. I'm trying to be more active, including Dance.

I post about adult topics. 18+ MDNI.

I've aligned this profile with my Mastodon profile. Probably going to use it to make posts that are horny, mildly unhinged, or futile dunks. And, engage in a small amount of online trans discourse, as a treat.
A white person being racist to a brown person is nothing remarkable. But if both the white and brown person had ancestors from Latin America, some people find the racism odd.

It's really not, yanks.

10 years, approximately.

In the first photo, I'm around 18, pre-estrogen. The second was taken this October - I'm 28 and have been on estrogen for about 8 years.

They don't look that different, but I'm wearing contouring make-up in the first one.

I support abstinence only javascript education in schools.

If my child came home and was suddenly aware of prototype-based inheritance, I would be very concerned.

Generally, when someone has a conditional sense of self-worth, trying to fulfill those conditions of worth doesn't help long-term, because the negative self-worth is deeper.

Fundamentally, men need to see themselves as valuable without needing to perform masculinity of manhood.

its really frustrating that "the truth matters and so does doing the right thing" is not a valid reason for supporting trans rights in mainstream discourse. rn the popular conception is that trans rights are a kind and gentle lie

Men should not be in politics. They should be grilling.

Greens statement - @maramadavidson.bsky.social says "The Greens affirm our pledge to properly resource and promote clear pathways for timely, free, non-discriminatory access to all forms of gender-affirming healthcare based on informed consent and self-determination."
Our trans whānau deserve better than this Government
We are building a future where we do more, faster, to protect our planet and make sure everyone is treated equally.

“..a bunch of dirty old men started bullying her. Spreading salacious, baseless, downright creepy rumours about her. And not even bothering to hide it. Sending all staff emails about it.”

And those men - some not so old - still sit at Council tables & got rewarded for that filthy behaviour. #nzpol
Tory Whanau isn’t leaving - she was hounded out
Opinion: As all the emails and filthy gossip came out, it’s been patently, toe-curlingly, nauseatingly obvious to every young woman what’s been happening.

I really recommend other trans women read about the menstrual cycle. It can be handy knowledge.

Honestly, Melbourne just feels like home. Being there feels right, in a way I can't exactly put into words.

Thinking I'll give up on New Zealand and just move to Australia. Just seems nicer, really.

Hipkins jumped on bluesky after a 2month break to support Winston Peters here

Has so far refused to do the same to support the trans community in the face of destructive and, frankly, fatal policy that NZF and National delivered this week

Really showing his, and Labour's, priorities
The attack on Winston Peters home today was totally unacceptable. MPs homes are not the place to protest. No matter the cause, political violence is never ok and should be condemned. Free speech is healthy in a democracy, political violence is not.

hipkins and lab leadership don’t give a shit about trans kids being targeted by the govt but are quick to clutch pearls when their own arses are on the line, even tangentially.

The government doesn't give a flying fuck about "saving" kids from unsafe medical treatments. I was given a bunch of unsafe drugs by state-run psychiatry as a teenager. It screwed up my brain and body in ways I'm still dealing with. That's still happening.

I am frankly sick of this puberty blockers debate. I have no idea how people think delaying a girl's puberty until she is 16 became an accepted medical practice. It is obviously detrimental to a trans girl's physical and social wellbeing to be that delayed.

I don't like it when a romance novel protagonist is tiny and the male love interest is huge. The woman should be taller than an averge man, and the love interest should tower over her anyway.

Like God intended.

Personally, if I didn't want small boats coming to my country, I wouldn't cause mass impoverishment and war in the global south. Because I'm a sensible person who understands cause and effect, and not a trust fund baby.
What will Labour do when its asylum reforms don’t work?

I hate Gay Inc. All they ever did with their "trans tipping point" media circus was paint a target on transsexual's backs. This is all their fault, and I hope they never know peace.

Everyone tells me to have hope, to keep going. No. I don't have hope. Every time I think there's hope, my stupid country snatches it from me. I'm done having hope. New Zealand can rot for all I care. I'm getting out of this backwater.
