Bod Squad, The

I think I picked this up LATE in the #C64 Day and you know what, if you like platformers / Rick Dangerous, this is a DECENT game. Great production values, brilliant movement and GFX & SFX. For a BUDGET game. It really is very good. If you have not played it - do so today!

New old tool in the Beta Lab: #Mitutoyo calipers I randomly found on eBay for little money. Not exactly sure how to date these but the logo appears to be the one used roughly from 1962 to 1965 (according to leftover.engineering/2020/09/06/m...). They are still VERY accurate as far as I can see. <3

I've played a lot of bad C64 racing games but thanks to Commodore Format we'll prove the machine can mix it with the best... or will we? Plus, The 73% Trials return.

42 years ago today, Texas Instruments gave up on the home computer market. The TI-99/4A sold 2.8 million units but a price war with Commodore rendered it unprofitable. #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing dfarq.homeip.net/ti-99-4a-dis...

Did anyone see a ZX81 cassette tape and think it was a regular tape with an audio recording of someone reading out the lines of BASIC to type in?

Me neither.

I only ever found 3 (contemporary at the time) gaming consoles interesting enough to actually go out and buy them: the original Nintendo Gameboy, the Sony PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo Switch. Happy birthday, PS2. You were a literal game changer (although I admittedly used you mostly to play DVDs).
