One of my favorite first pages of recent memory. Instant chokehold by Maylis de Kerangal in ‘Eastbound’.

Finished book number 1 of the year 2025. Ágota Kristóf - Trilogy. My ways to feel hungover while being sober for exactly 2 years and a day now. Such sadness.

Some authors I want to read for the first time in 2025.

Nothing is the same after The Aesthetics of Resistance Vol. I

Walked through a totally empty Musées royaux d'Art et d'Histoire in Brussels today, with my love, and the art spoke to us in a new language.

Every third Sunday of the month, there’s a book market in Antwerp with all the bangers (mostly in my mother tongue; Dutch) at very budget-friendly prices for addicts like 80% of this app. Here’s my book haul of the month:

My favorite book has just arrived. Generally not an admirer of autographs, but if it’s Jon Fosse and it looks this wonky and cute, I’ll bend.
