Code Veronica X finished again. I am so excited to see this remade. It's got such a bloated critical path with sooo much backtracking that feels really spiteful. It's better on repeat plays, but your 1st run is bound to be frustrating. Great ideas & concepts though. #ResidentEvil

On to Code Veronica X now and really love this opening entry in an Umbrella workers diary #ResidentEvil

Just wrapped #ResidentEvil3. My first ever RE game played - though not my favourite - but Nemesis was such a cool addition that would influence the design of these games for years to come. A shame the remake cut so much out, but a good reason to revisit this version nonetheless.

#ResidentEvil2 done. Still adore this game. Perhaps my....2nd favourite. There is just something about how it all comes together, how the second scenario folds in and, of course, the debut of Ada. Some of the stuff unique to this version is what I'll always miss from the remake.

There is truly nothing more satisfying in life #ResidentEvil2

Snuck in a run of the original RE1 last night for the first time in what feels like forever. Shocked at how ingrained the remakes pathing is in my mind - but enjoy this version for its unique mood and atmosphere. The voice work will never get old. #ResidentEvil

I actually didn't install Code Veronica which is perhaps controversial in and of itself BUT maybe I'll consider it, it's just so fucking long. And if reports are true maybe it's worth saving that one for early next year anyway 🌚

Thank you! I have heaps of nostalgia for everything Resident Evil but I also feel that way about the remake and so many people argue with me about it 😭

Reinstalled ALL of the Resident Evil games last night

Do you ever think about the fact the Nokia N-Gage had The Sims but the Nintendo Switch doesn't

I don't really understand how Season 5 of Stranger Things is so fucking off the mark (to be fair I'm on Ep 4 so maybe it recovers but......I have doubts)

So many questions about this clip of Dead Space that appears in the final season of Damages but has been rebranded SAMURAI $EVEN randomly (and why does he say "Namaste Bitches") 😭😫

Finished Sleep Awake. Pretty disappointed. Not much horror, if any, and while the blend of live action FMV with gameplay had potential, it ultimately fell flat. Average story, dated gameplay and a wasted concept. It's not bad, it's not good, it's just boring. Nice art though.

It looks kind of like.....toys? If that makes sense. I can't explain it, there is definitely something off about it but I have such immense faith in Karpyshyn

Agree wholeheartedly. I see where some of the cynicism comes from but that is almost always balanced out with the dork energy you describe

Giving SLEEP AWAKE a shot now, expecting some cool things given the people involved (Spec Ops writer, NiN guitarist).

Will die on the hill that Tonic Trouble is one of Michel Ancel's most underrated though perhaps revisiting it today would change my mind. And we're one step closer to Ed in Smash Bros obviously.

Finished ROUTINE and loved it. It doesn't lay on the stalker mechanics too thick and the atmosphere is absolutely top notch, helped by some incredibly strong sound design. It's really a slightly more forgiving Alien Isolation. Really recommend it, even if the plot is clichè. 🌼

Successfully opening a door for the first time after mindlessly walking around in Routine for 20 minutes feels like
