when jandri first showed me this i lost control of my limbs it is surreal to see them draw my characters and i'm blown away by how kindly they depict them this rules

with this wave of everyone watching the new wuthering heights so no one else has to, i'm seeing a lot of people saying the film is tedious & then a dozen clever little replies saying "ya, like the book lol"
& like, ok, until they follow up with something like "it's a bad romance." uhh, yeah??

very bummed i couldn't participate in hourly comic day this year - today was way too busy
though maybe that is for the best. i haven't been in the steadiest place for the past few weeks and i worry an autobio comic rn would just be incredibly revealing and depressing haha
but next year! i want to!

Bad things are happening for trans people in Kansas...
It plainly invalidates all driver's licenses held by trans people if they've changed their gender markers. It requires them to turn those licenses over.
They don't have a list to check but now any out trans person could be ratted out by family, friends or coworkers and have their licenses revoked.

when i was in college i used to live a block away from this. it's so hard to see footage of ice pigs kill a man in front of glam doll. it's so hard to see protesters confront these bastards in front of cheapo records. that was a vibrant part of the city before it became a war zone
