One of my favorite old photos is this one, of a southern ringneck snake. These #snakes show off their bright undersides when threatened, and this one made two perfect loops with its body and tail while being photographed.

There's a #snake #hibernaculum a few minutes away from my job that I like to visit in early #spring. On a good emergence day, I can take a seat with my camera and get plenty of opportunities to capture photos like this one, of a #gartersnake poking its head out of some leaves.
