Great news! There's no way Milton should've been allowed to get away with what they were trying to do. I hope the AG has letters to other recalcitrant cities and towns ready to go out.

Today's victory in our lawsuit against Milton is a BIG step forward in our work to address the unacceptably high cost of housing for Massachusetts residents.

The highest court in Massachusetts agrees: the MBTA Communities Law is mandatory, not voluntary.

The biggest barrier to getting Cambridge the housing it so badly needs is our own local zoning code. For at least a half-century, it has favored large, expensive single family homes and blocked or delayed less expensive, more sustainable multi-family buildings.
