Co-host of the Little Podcast of Horrors. I crave nonsense.
Yeah, so...listen to our podcast everywhere _but_ Spotify.
Spotify is running recruitment ads for ICE.

A platform built to connect creators and listeners is helping an authoritarian regime build up its secret police force.

But we’re not going to idly accept that. We’re going to make Spotify listen: indivisible.org/cancel-spoti... #CancelSpotify

I keep trying to join the Church of Robotheism cult so I can do an episode on them, but they won't respond. Why is it so hard to join a cult nowadays?

I'm in the wrong state, but you still get 2/3s of us! At least the pretty ones are gonna be there! (Sadly, they couldn't arrange a cardboard cutout of me as a stand-in.)

It's the devotion to pure laziness that really makes it for me. Dude does nothing but wait, spot victims, let go, and open wide. Gravity and inertia do all the work for it. That's the good life right there.
Finally, we have James's personal favorite cryptid, Colorado's Slide-Rock Bolter (Macrostoma Saxiperrumptus). Who knew that when exploring Colorado's mountains, you should be on alert for sudden whale attacks?

Vicious. Short. Canadian. We're pretty sure it's actually Wolverine.
Here we have the Leprocaun...the far more vicious Canadian variant.

The only cryptid I've ever hear of who's one defining characteristic is being sad.
We present to you the Squonk, the cryptid so sad that it dissolves into tears if you try to catch it.

Anyone live up in the Funeral Mountains who have seen a casket-like, spontaneously exploding creature?
Next is the Funeral Mountain Terrashot (Funericorpus Displosissimum). This is the one shaped like a casket that always fails to cross the desert. Because it explodes.

Sometimes you just wake up horrified by your own existence.
Here we have the Gumberoo, the nearly invincible cryptid who lives in a perpetual existential crisis.

To reiterate my statement in the episode: "oh lawd he comin’".
Pics as promised, with more coming! First, I present to you the Hugag (Rythmopes Inarticulatus), with its legendary upper lip and odd lack of knees.

They should probably stop letting me do season finales. Anyway, time to go off the rails with some lumberjacks' cryptids!

So I bought this game sight unseen, simply on principle.
Here's how we handle manchildren on the Steam forums at No More Robots:

Courtney just came back from the depths of the old Virginia State Penitentiary, and hooo boy are the stories hella creepy. And this time we got some EVPs to creep out over!
October 9, 2025 at 7:27 PM
A pause while we set up the season's final episode! And yes, don't worry about those Canadian Leprechauns...yet.

That's right -- C'mon, listeners, help me start that beef so we can show 'em what's what!
Join us as we explore the true story behind the Smurl Family Haunting, and the strange happenings that would inspire the blockbuster hit. Also, James tries to start beef with everybody. #ghosts #paranormal #spooky #podcast #theconjuring #haunted #unexplained open.spotify.com/episode/0b2r...

I tried my best to pull some jokes out of this holy-crap-depressing chapter without inadvertently cancelling myself. I'm going to go rock back and forth in a corner now.

We really tackle the deep questions here.

My favorite takeaway from this episode is how the 300-year-old Jersey Devil legend is basically all Benjamin Franklin's fault.
More almanac drama! Here's a snippet of Ben Franklin's jab at Titan Leeds in Ben's Poor Richard's Almanack. Funnily enough, this running gag would go on to feed into the Jersey Devil legend that's alive and well 300yrs later.

I wanna gooooo
So , Chris‘s sister whom we’ve had on the show is currently in Pointe Pleasant, West Virginia. If you recall that is the town featured in James’s episode about the Mothman. She was kind enough to send us some pictures of her current adventure. #cryptids #mothman #paranormal #unexplained #creepy

And this is just the first of more historical celebrities I found making cameos in this crazy story. How did the Jersey Devil score such a star cast?!
How about some more visuals from our Jersey Devil episodes? First, a black-and-white of Commodore Stephen Decatur, who fired a cannon at the devil. Second, Napoleon's brother, Joseph Bonaparte, who had an encounter while out game hunting.
