William Hope Hodgson wrote brilliant stories, which may be slightly flawed and of their time, but few other writers have managed to channel such authentic weirdness into science fiction!

Nearly three million people have signed a petition against mandatory digital IDs, 100,000 being the minimum for Parliament to reconsider the issue. Yesterday, the government responded that they will not change the the policy and it's for our own good.

And here it is October...when I always start planning my #NaNoWriMo project. I'm leaning toward joining #MyWriteClub since it has what I need and want: a place to log my word count and see it as a graph. I could do it myself with a spreadsheet, but this seems to have more accountability. #writing
