If you like seeing helicopters, the Olympics Women's Downhill has been fun. Not as fun has been watching these skiers fall and injure themselves. Brutal sport sometimes.

If it wasn't -20ºC this morning, I'd seriously consider taking the subway over to Kennedy and riding the entirety of the Eglinton Crosstown, coming back on the UP and GO. I'm only less seriously considering it. Maybe later in the day?

A six day trip to Germany from Toronto is the perfect duration. It's just long enough to completely overcome the jet lag so that you can do it all over again in the opposite direction when you fly home! /s

This stomach bug, whatever it is, continues to linger which is eternally frustrating. Starting to learn how to manage it. Don't go too long without eating, and then don't eat too much. Empty stomach = bad. Full stomach = bad.

Decent enough day. Made it to Frankfurt safe and sound. Took the ICE to Wuppertal and rode the Schwebebahn. Then a Regionalbahn to Bonn and a few stops on the Stadtbahn. Hotel is lovely and has an amazing sauna and wellness area downstairs so I took advantage of that for a bit.

It's 2026 and I'm at yet another hotel with pathetic internet. 4Mbps is not acceptable.

Awaiting the long overnight flight to Frankfurt. Stomach has been unhappy for a couple of days although not as bad as the kid who was quite sick. Hoping some Gravol does double duty and zonks me out.
