The final article on my findings in the noted #agathachristie cover artist Tom Adams is now live on my website. Lots of unique insights incl. the fact that he used a photograph of #elizabethtaylor to inspire one of his covers. #coverart Full story at: www.collectingchristie.com/post/tom-ada...

BAD NEWS! Should the swift brick vote have taken place earlier today we would have won. Tories whipped YES but by the time of the vote, support had gone home just like 2 years ago. It is an AGONISING reality. Tell your MP & steve.reed.mp@parliament.uk what you think. GUTTED.

Last night, Peers voted against Swift bricks: rejecting a simple, proven way to help one of our fastest declining birds recover. ❌

We share @hannahbournetaylor.bsky.social's disappointment & frustration.

The vote came late, but with government refusing to back it, its fate was already sealed.

Can never resist vintage paperbacks, hard to find The Margaret Rutherford film tie in for After the Funeral, though Miss M is not in the book but Poirot is, and a title change, so must be confusing for the reader

A Pocketful of Rye is tonight's Miss Marple @joanhicksonfans.bsky.social on BBC4, not one of the strongest of the 12 but still a good story. I wonder how the alternative casting of Celia lmrie as Mary Dove and Kathy Burke as Gladys the maid would have changed things
