Final addition to the level editor before focusing harder on some art. You can place decals now, which can be useful for anything from graffiti to dirt & grime overlays.

Experimenting with the art style for Play Fight. First time I've actually been able to make some okay looking art for a game, but Blender and Substance Painter are pretty cool.

Also messing around with a toon shader that also incorporates half tone dots.

Added support for placing Godot scenes in my Blender / Godot level editor plug-in. Placed scenes are pre-cached in game and loaded with their transforms, meaning you can essentially place static props.

Here's an update on my #GodotEngine / blender level editor pipeline.
- .pck file importing for previewing and using materials in blender.
- Skybox previews in blender.
- Godot level editor project so users can edit a map in editor and add nodes (ie. lights)

Been working on the blender level editor plugin for Play Fight. All you have to do is model some geometry in blender and export a map file that the game can load. It's in a very basic state but it's all dynamically loaded and pretty exciting. #GodotEngine #Godot #GameDev

Been doing a lot of small things that have been on my To-Do list.

- The character controller can stair-step.
- You can now crouch
- Super charge ability that you gain over time. You can charge it when it's full and it lets you do a super ragdoll.
- Ragdoll sounds.

Here's a pretty simple implementation of some animation blending that makes ragdolls feel more alive. I also made entity interpolation interpolate at a pretty fixed latency (75ms for right now). Game feels much better with higher latency. #Godot #GodotEngine #GameDev

Hey! This site doesn't suck as much as Twitter so I think I'll start posting game dev stuff here alongside it. I'm working on a multiplayer game called Play Fight with the #Godot engine and C#! I'll be posting updates here but for now here's me running around doing stuff.
