Eine schmale, kurvige Landstraße führt durch eine winterliche Landschaft. Der Boden ist von einer dünnen Schneeschicht bedeckt, auf der sich dunkle Reifenspuren abzeichnen. Links und rechts der Straße stehen hohe, kahle Laubbäume, deren Äste sich über die Fahrbahn neigen. Ein Maschendrahtzaun verläuft parallel zur Straße. Im Hintergrund setzt sich der Weg zwischen weiteren Bäumen fort. Die Szene wirkt ruhig und verlassen.

„Uwe“ is the name of this shipwreck, which has lain in the Elbe River since 1975. A collision with another ship in dense fog caused the ship to break apart.
Ironicaly I took that picture in even this dense fog.

I love this spot.
The so called Painters Angle, was mentioned first 1935, when the motiv was printed on Postcards.

The view is breathtaking, specially when the water is as calm as possible, and the reflections work out propper.
