Captured 15 years ago. Needed a tripod but had none with me. Lots of noise and soft focus on old digital gear that didn't deal well with the low light. One of my personal favorites though.

Another angle of this barn. Last year, a 26 acre property was added to a state park. On that 26 acres, there's a house, barn, outbuildings. I assume most will be razed.

Gonna bore y'all with a bit more of my small town. The shining star is the Sacajawea Hotel, built in 1910. It has a decent restaurant, but I've not stayed there. First shot is from Saturday, second is from a few years ago on the side lawn.

Like so many other ghost towns in Montana, the people relocated while they still supported the church. Lennep, #Montana. The general store (pictured) and most residents abandoned their lives. How many people could be fed with the $ given to the church?

Because I avoid humans like the plague, this is the closest I come to #UrbanGaze. This young being and its sibling darted in front of my truck (both were fine) and climbed the nearest tree. I sent their family this image.

No great photo, but we have “atmospheric rivers”, rain, snow, ridiculously warm temperatures, and intermittent very high winds here. Just before sunset we got our first break in the clouds last evening.
