Waaa, I cooked my CPU... Literally just bought a new case too. GAH I guess it's time to upgrade the computy parts anyways, my processor is 8 years old already (Ryzen 5) and my mobo is more like 15 years old.

Woke up all depressed at the state of the world and then I remembered it's SKELETON CREW DAY!! Will Jod finally have a change of heart and help rescue our Crew? Or is he really only in it for the cold, hard credits? Will Wim finally become a real Jedi? Will Neel be as awesome as ever? (of course)

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.
Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

So I just lost all the friends I have on Threads for some kind of bug or glitch?? I appealed my IG suspension and had it immediately reinstated but now threads doesn't work for me? Anyone else having this issue? UGH what is even the point

I really wish I knew when I was growing up in the 80s how much I'd cherish the toys I had. Like this TIE Fighter, with 'firing lasers' and pop off wings. I ran LAPS around my yard with this on one hand, and the Falcon on the other (I used the front landing gear like a flying handlebar). Good times.

I'm two episodes into the first season of "Superman and Lois" and it's pretty great! I really like Tyler Hoechlin as Superman!
And I have like, 4 whole seasons to binge, which is nice.
