If only there were a government department dedicated to identifying and ending unnecessary governmental spending... one who was unmoved by the cost of such governmental activities being wildly outpaced by their benefits.

1. This is performative, and insufficient unless part of a larger effort by Congressional Dems to disrupt the united government voters handed the Republican party.
2. It is better than nothing, which was the previous approach.

Many Americans don't seem troubled by the casual cruelty inflicted upon migrants by the current regime in Washington.
I suspect those same Americans won't be concerned about the fact that the regime has also made arrangements to enable it to send American citizens to jails in El Salvador.
