Robert E. Howard was born January 22, 1906. 🎂

He sat in a bedroom, in a small town (like I do) getting lost in fiction. His prose are intoxicating and once I start one of his yarns, I can't put it down.

Thank you. Mr. Howard. For changing my writing forever⚔️

George R.R. Martin may never finish "A Song of Ice And Fire" but I love listening to him talk.

Doesn't even have to be about writing.

Just his life interests me.

I love the old man rambling on and on, but he's so eloquent and it's obvious he's a brilliant storyteller. He inspires me.

'Matt Damon says Netflix wants plots reiterated "three or four times in the dialogue" for phone-distracted viewers'

Or....how about you put your fucking phone down and WATCH a movie and pay attention? O_o

Jon Bokenkamp created "The Blacklist", a thriller TV show. Really fun, action packed, good drama, well written. I like how it's serialized, but also has an overarching narrative. Every villain is important. Not many network shows do that.

I know of "The Last Frontier", but have yet to see it.

Books bans only instill curiosity about the books.

There are plenty of lists of banned books out there, and people reading these books mainly because they are banned.

If someone doesn’t want to you read a book, that, in itself, is a good reason to read it.

Tried to write a sequel to "Record" But I really have lost interest with Farah Volek.

So, I'm gonna use some ideas I had for the sequel and make a longer, complex, darker yarn with new characters and a new plot direction.

While ripping myself off a bit, using elements in "Record" I liked.

THE HOUSEMAID directed by Paul Feig was so damn fun, very well written and acted.

It reminded me of fun, super edgy 90s thrillers like BASIC INSTINCT or HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADDLE.

Go see it. 😎

#Zootopia 2 was damn good. Very good story, stunning animation, clever jokes. I think the first film is a 'classic', so for me-the sequel wasn't quite that level. BUT-it was damn good.

May you never be the reason why someone who loves to sing, doesn't anymore. Or why someone who dressed so differently now wears standard clothing. Or why someone who always spoke of their dreams so wildly is now silent about them.

Misery (1990) Directed by the great Rob Reiner, they're two psychological thrillers that rival all others. One is "Psycho".
The other is "Misery."

From the editing, the amazing camera work, the claustrophobia, the amazing acting this is flawless.

It inspired my love of stalker thrillers.

I started writing my first non-fiction book!

"Beast Book: A Deconstruction Of #Y2K / Early 00s Culture". (Working title)

It's gonna have personal stories too. Talk of USA history.
The vibes. Clothes. Music. Fashion. It'll really explain why this era should be remembered fondly.

"The Equalizer" (2014) Is an underrated thriller. Denzel Washington shines as the vigilante Robert McCall. The story is patient, the characters are fleshed out and the action kicks ass.

Antoine Fuqua is a fantastic director and stages his action scenes so, so well.

My Holiday wishes go to the ones who feel alone. Ones who are marginalized and in need of love. Who've been hurt by ICE and other right-wing groups. Let's tax the rich, support LGBTQ+ causes, ppl with disabilities and POC.
Let's hug one another this Xmas season. 🏳️‍🌈♿🎄

I'm not anti-religion. I'm actually a spiritual person. I'm anti-hate.

Putting women down, stoning gay people, hating trans people, hiding and protecting pedos should be things we all condemn.

In my sci-fi action story "Invasion of the Greys" it opens kinda like a slasher film.

Introducing the villains (the Grey aliens of famed 50s B-movies) with one really brutal kill that drags on and on for a poor human. Akin to a Terrifier film.

Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025)-

It was a fun movie. The story was engaging, the two main characters played by Rohan Campbell and Ruby Modine were super interesting. I do think the movie needed much more gore, but overall? I had a good time and I'm not a slasher fan.
