Reflection: I’m so full from knowing that I’ve been paid for. To think of all those that came before and survived long enough for me to be here, in this moment, in this place. I wish they didn’t have to be… so strong. I can’t even imagine the curiosity they must’ve had of what could’ve been.
Nothing pisses me off more than these turncoat Trump voters. Ironic given my views, right? Nah, bc I find it offensive you just NOW started feeling like the administration YOU voted for is tasteless & disgusting. Miss me w/ that when the rest of us voted for sanity.

I’m doing more crying than laughing these days.
I’m not sugarcoating it. Seeing what’s next for Palestinians and the strip is… depressing. I really just don’t want to be on this plane of reality to bear witness to these atrocities. It feels like I’m dreaming and screaming stop, but everything around me is just going as usual.

I hate to be that guy, but while I feel like the "But the Dems" arguments that folks are making are warranted because they're consistently not rising to the occasion, I also think a lot of it is deflection from folks who may feel guilt about downplaying the dangers of a 2nd Trump presidency.

Drumpf has warped yall minds into believing this is game of thrones. Reality check: even if you get into power, it’s temporary. You have to make changes that are long lasting. Implement stuff ppl can’t live w/o while still making exponential gains for marginalized people.
Erosion of rules doesn’t equate to us following 100% fake norms. It’s established rules, set to be objective. If changes needed to be made, we had plurality. Conforming to the belief that anyone in power should unilaterally change the rules will just land us back in another authoritarian’s arms.

To be clear: the lack of USAID to foreign countries is exactly what our adversaries want. America cannot make good on its promises. We will cede authority to a new world leader. China & Russia are no better, and IMO, are worse off to the world. However, I cannot blame countries not having faith.
