Happy National Poetry Month! Here's my first #April3030 prompt (I'll use this hashtag throughout the month)

Imagine a factory that, in various strange and surreal ways, manufactures sadness. Now write a poem cataloguing reasons for required maintenance at the sadness factory.

Be weird!

I always have a handful of stories and poems in progress. I like being able to jump between them, tap into these different worlds, different characters. I just dove back into a short story I started a few years ago—and found my way into a new scene. Sometimes it feels like magic.

I’ve been plodding along on this novella for [redacted], but tonight was the first time in a while I read through all 50 pages. And, honestly, damn: It’s pretty good.
