This is a new program I joined. I came here because someone recommended it to me. I like horse riding, shooting, golf, tennis, and I like casual conversation. If you are a like-minded person, please let me know.
Republicans: We must tackle the debt!

The people: Then tax the rich!

Republicans: No, no, I meant cut social programs and make ordinary folks poorer.
NEBRASKA CROWD: “TAX THE RICH! TAX THE RICH!”

@USRepMikeFlood: “So your proposal to solve (the debt) is tax the rich?”

NEBRASKA CROWD: *CHEERS WILDLY*

(not sure this went quite as he planned 😬)

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

They are only concerned with manipulating politics and do not consider the interests of the people at all.
Schiff: "I was just listening to your guest [Hassett] trying to explain that these on-again off-again tariffs are not about trade. It's a drug war, but next month it's a trade war, but now it's a drug war. It was incomprehensible ... they're destroying the economy. That's where we need to focus."

I came across a perfume shop today. It's a niche brand, but the scent is unique. I like the layout and scenery here the most. It's a happy little surprise on the weekend.

Trump is holding a crypto summit today to promote a "national crypto reserve," which would likely enrich himself and his crypto industry donors.

Who will get left holding the bag for the largest Ponzi scheme in history? American taxpayers.

The U.S. healthcare industry is extremely critical. In 2021, healthcare spending accounted for more than 18.3% of GDP and is expected to reach $6.2 trillion in 2028. At present, home healthcare is on the rise, the DIY healthcare market is developing, and mental health benefits are valued.

A scenic but shorter hike (approximately 1.3 km one way, 2.6 km round trip).😏

Without any evidence of fraud, the term "improper expenditure" was invented to mislead the audience. This is a complete manipulation of public opinion. We public has the right to know the truth, not to be deceived by such false rhetoric. It is time to see through these misleading tactics!

The U.S. Constitution clearly defines the presidential term, and any attempt to undermine this principle should be taken seriously.

No, he’s not “joking” when he portrays himself as a king and muses about staying in office past 2028. Just look at everything he’s done this month.

Regardless of personal stance, every citizen should be concerned about this issue - if the government can "adjust" the judicial process in this way today, it can use the same means against anyone tomorrow.

The order came in response to a lawsuit filed by 19 attorneys general accusing the president of failing to faithfully execute the nation’s laws when he let DOGE comb through federal computer systems.

The central payment system deals with tax refunds, social security and veterans' benefits, disbursing trillions yearly and holding vast personal & financial data. Trump gave Musk's young team "almost unlimited access", risking national info security.

Congress must immediately act.

That is why Rep. Jeffries and I will work together on legislation to stop unlawful meddling in the Treasury Department’s payment systems.
