It’s going to cause massive social disruption in lots of areas. You’ve just taken jobs from millions who act as local employees/contractors for USAID. So yeah, the funds and projects help more than just the end recipients, and that was all part of process as intended. It’s called soft diplomacy.
If you are attempting to argue that it’s good to kill USAID and thus kill huge numbers of innocent people who relied on USAID from what you believe is a *leftist* perspective:
