The House is never coming back is it. Johnson will never call them back so then we effectively have a dictator that can do what he wants. He’s already planning a war with Venezuela and doesn’t give a shit if the congress or senate knows about it. Why? Because they’ve already killed congress.

Hearing about Jane Goodall’s passing, I’m not sure why but I feel devastated. It’s as if all the goodness and light in the world was contained in that one human and now she’s gone. I can’t look at my feed anymore today it’s too depressing.

We got a new rescue a few weeks ago, a sweet 9 month old Pom. Last night I was weeping over the Supreme court ruling, and the hopelessness of it all, sweet little Odin came up to me and started licking my hands and face and then just laid his head on my chest. Why cant people be more like dogs.

I am an American because I believe in the separation of church and state, one of the main reasons our forefathers came here in the first place. Kindness to your neighbor helping strangers, belief in the rule of law and that no one is above the law especially our lawmakers and politicians.
Just watched a movie with the hubs called Penguin Lessons. It hit me extra hard as it had themes of fascism and cruelty, disappearing people, juxtaposed with this sweet penquin and the kind loving relationship he had with the main character. 😩😥

The beautiful area, Bear Gulch near Lake Cushman is burning. Only 3% contained and 3000 acres already. It was started by fireworks. The sky is a sickening brown. It breaks my heart.

Decided to turn my energy into something positive and try and reclaim my creative side. My sewing room was a disaster (I haven’t gone in there for a while cause of depression and stress) but my sweet husband started sorting and helping me and we got it cleaned up and then I made this piece.
