Tens of thousands of people will be hit by “knock-on impact” of PIP cuts. Unpaid carers face losing carer’s allowance if their family member loses eligibility for disability benefits - a devastating double loss

Some disabled people could lose £10k a year in benefits by end of decade
Experts say planned cuts will deliver series of ‘painful income shocks’ for many

Footage from Liz laying out Labour’s “tasty” plans.

Up to 1.2 million disabled people will lose thousands of pounds under the gov’s welfare overhaul. If you want more people to get “out of bed” and into work; don’t cut care & mobility budgets that help people get out of bed & into work!

Catch if you can!
Today marks the final performances of A View from the Bridge.

We're sending our best wishes to those on-stage, the creatives, our production team and the wider Team Tron who all make the theatre magic happen.

Break a leg with the final shows!

This wave of cuts is going to crash hard and pull so many people under. This is not just the loss of livelihood. This is life and death stuff.

This is a brilliant initiative by Playwright Studio, these kinds of open spaces for writers of all levels of experience are vital for development, especially in the north of Scotland which has a unique grassroots writing scene with not a lot of national support. Big thanks to EC too for hosting!
Our residency at Eden Court starts today! We’re in Inverness all week with free workshops, writing sessions & creative support. Join us for 90 Minute Write, Dramaturgy & Script Support, From Where I Stand, and Making Your Writing Move. Drop into Open Office Hours each evening. Free & open to all.

GLENN: Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office & you refuse to wear a suit. A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.

ZELENSKYY: I will wear a costume after this war will finish. Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better.

Nik & I have been collaborating for over a year now! We’re looking kick on with our exciting new project, The Grim Collective. Here’s an old poem of mine with some fresh beats, provided by Nik. Unfortunately the subject is still painfully relevant, with the gov’s plans to ✂️ welfare by £9billion.
The Grim Collective is a new project from Jack Hunter and Nik Paget-Tomlinson.

Our first release ‘You’ve got to be Ballsy to have Cerebral Palsy’ is available on Bandcamp now.

This callous ignorant rhetoric is now systemic. It’s been abundantly clear that Labour was never going to reverse these welfare reforms proposed by the tories. I’m sick to death of having to justify the value of disabled people’s existence through economic terms.

Nabbed a ticket for this! Always keen for what Jackie boy has in store. It will be cracking I’m sure. And I’m not just saying that cause I’m contractually obligated to back the work of a fellow Jack…

Also, looking forward to my first Strange Town show!
Tickets are now on sale for my new play 'The Dark Up Close'. Storytelling Centre on 26th / 27th March.

They've used a photo I took last year as the poster, which is very nice of them. Would love to see some friendly faces!

A lot of positivity for sure! The most encouraging news we’ve had for a long while!

But also feeling it for those that have missed out. It’s still very perplexing and sad.
NEW: Creative Scotland‬⁩ will fund more cultural organisations on a multi-year basis than ever before. 🙌

It’s thanks to a significant uplift in Scottish Government funding, for which thousands of our supporters campaigned.

We’ll have more analysis soon.

Decisions over Creative Scotland's new multi-year funding programme set to be announced later this morning...

Will be covering them asap in @thestage.bsky.social.
