This is the formula: United States invades and demolishes a country (because THEY HAVE OIL). People from that country are forced to migrate to the United States. Conservatives demand that immigrants are rounded up and deported/detained. ICE gets more funding. Fascism flourishes.
The blockade of Venezuela is a disgusting echo of U.S. imperialism in Latin America. We were lied to about Iraq and WMDs, and an entire generation paid the price.
