It would have been the incomparable Michael Jayston’s 90th birthday this week so it has to be the singular greatest #BrianClemensThriller episode, A Coffin for the Bride tonight @rozzyc.bsky.social @martinmauthor1.bsky.social

A great watch tonight. 'Where the Action Is', with Edd Byrnes playing a suave, almost Bond-like character, Eddie Vallance. A completely different feel to last week's episode. #BrianClemensThriller rings the changes once again & delivers another fresh & thoroughly entertaining 65-minutes.

My rewatch of #BrianClemensThriller this evening is all about gambling, & with very high stakes. Here's the London area TV Times billing from Saturday 8th February 1975, with viewers in the captial (including me) getting to see the episode at least an hour ahead of the rest of the UK.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to Edward Judd today, born 4/10/32. I’ve a choice of 2 #BrianClemensThriller tonight starring Mr Judd but I’m going for my guilty pleasure, Murder Motel with the ditzy Robyn Millen and the brilliant Derek Francis

Where does 'Killer with Two Faces' fall on my radar? Well, it was among the first of LWT's in 1981 & I didn't video-record it, something I later regretted. I then had to make an extra effort to try to get it recorded from another region. Success came with the Anglia broadcast. #BrianClemensThriller.

It’s the heavenly birthday of Donald Gee on Sunday. He starred as the hapless Tom Patterson in one of my favourite episodes of #BrianClemensThriller Murder in Mind. I’ll be watching it Sunday evening. George Drew,s book appeared in assignment 5 of Sapphire and Steel 8 years later

This reminds me of an interesting piece of casting coincidence. 18 months before Patrick Troughton played his second most famous role, that of a broken priest unsuccessfully trying to warn a north American diplomat that the devil is in home, he was cast in an episode of Brian Clemens' Thriller...
Now re-watching on iPlayer. I haven't seen this in over 30 years. Not sure which way it will go! 😬
