For fucking real. The entire reason it's even a debate is because cis people just don't see trans people, including trans kids, as being quite as human as they are, because if they did they'd immediately recognise the problem here
if you let a kid transition, and they change their mind later, they may enter adulthood with unwanted sex characteristics - a situation no trans person has ever experienced before and could not possibly comprehend. the nuance!!!
