After a quieter September for my matches of the month, I had a lot to talk about in October. Among other stuff, we have a foray into sumo, Senka's first title shot and a lot of Meiko Satomura.

Give it a read, tell a friend, you all know the deal.

I love the iron man, but I've always taken this over it, a big part of which is because of this finish.

I don't know why I thought I wasn't going to be a Phil Ellis fan going into this season of Taskmaster, but I was very wrong.

I'm sure she's going to refine it, but I quite like Senka's version of the Giant Swing where it looks like she's also not sure when she's going to stop.

It sucks that it came from Masa's injury, but Aoi coming back on a regular basis to be Choco GM has been such a joy. She's clearly having the best time.

Catching up on some TJPW, and I enjoyed Nanase beating Kira by simply clocking her in the jaw.

I thought the match could have used a touch more urgency, though. I know they're close friends, but I'm not convinced they actually have great chemistry together.

Sakura has been working her arse off on this trip home for her 30th anniversary, but I think the match with Mei vs Kaho and Makoto might be my favourite she's done so far.

I always love Mei vs Hoshitango. It's not a match I need to see regularly, but at least once a year, I'll happily watch Mei run around, slap his bald head and try to menace her way past the big sumo lad.
