Had to defer to a colleague earlier to remove stitches from someone’s cheek. They were so tight and so fine, I couldn’t see them…even with me bins on. And I wasn’t about to go digging about in someone’s face 😱

I’ve had part one of a 2-day online vaccinations & immunisations training course today. I fully expected to have lost the will to live by the end, but the presenter was very engaging and the bombardment of information wasn’t too overwhelming…

Had two patients, who both professed their dread of needles, tell me they didn’t feel a thing and they’d come to me again when I took blood from them today. That’s one of the best phlebotomy-related compliments you can get!
