Started a fire in a safe, secure fire pit! On a concrete slab 15 or more feet away from the nearest building, tree or other structure structure with a bucket of water and a hose nearby. Feeling good!

Not so friendly reminder that hot oil does not care that your family is cheering you on. A frozen turkey in a deep fryer equals a giant oily fireball. Thaw, pat dry, lower it slowly. Or don’t fry at all! Your insurance agent will appreciate it!

“Just stay home if you are afraid of getting sick,” is not sound advice when many of the ways that allowed people to do so (remote work, telehealth appointment options, etc.) have been needlessly removed over the last couple of years.

Please know that disability is NOT a bad word, so we never need euphemisms like "differently abled," which tend to be for the comfort of abled folx, rather than any benefit to our disabled communities, as it tells us that you cannot handle the harsh truth that is our reality, navigating ableism! 🔥🔥🔥

One reason I am not boycotting Amazon as a disabled person is that they always make sure every problem is fixed fast and fully. I am currently out over 100$ at Belkin from buying directly from their website. I wish I had purchased from them through their Amazon store.

When someone dies of the flu and you say “what pre existing conditions did they have?”….you’re saying the chronically ill are expendable.

People get so worried about learning a language before they go somewhere but I can go anywhere in the world and go pspspsps and the cat will come to me for pets. If we can have a non-verbal connection to animals then why did Humans lose the ability to understand without speaking?
