JSA Year One is doing it right. The characters are helping each other even though they don’t know each other. And in some cases going about their business alone and a deeper mystery about The Spectre arises.

Why is DC afraid of Wonder Woman’s immortality? Why can’t Diana be both WWII #WonderWoman and the modern one. If she’s immortal the. There is no reason for her not to be.
I don’t dislike Hypolita as WW, but it makes me wonder what the deal is. Is it that important that she be young?

We gays need to stop using the phrase gay bating. Gay people have been playing straight for them for centuries, if they want to play gay for us, I say go for it! Plus, straight men unafraid to be seen as gay or bi is good for all of us.

Green Arrow no.31 was a perfect story for this character. It humanizes the character so much in an era when every comics character is fighting demigods.
The story of a child who meets a superhero as she tries to get some space from the abuses at home touched me.

I am loving JSA Year One. DC needs an entire line of WWII era books including Flash, Spectre, All Star Squadron, and Dr Fate books. These characters and the more grounded stories they thrive in are what’s missing in superhero comics.

There is contingent of comics/super-hero fans that is just a pathetic conglomeration of sad cunts who hate everything that isn’t white and male. It’s hard to accept those people not having any shame whatsoever.

I prefer the idea that the alien that was found by the crew of the Nostromo dead in its chair accidentally landed on the xenomorph homeworld and his ship was infested.
The later concept that they were created by Engineers who also created humans is, IMO, stupid.

The other day I was thinking about something, doesn’t matter what, but a memory spontaneously emerged of my mother tucking me in and giving me a kiss in the forehead when I was a young boy.
Now that she is small, frail, and uncommunicative I appreciate memories like that. And it makes me sad.
