It was #WorldWhaleDay yesterday, and I am grateful that I can photograph humpbacks who have returned to the #salishsea after decimation by whaling.

Today humpbacks are faced with multiple threats: climate change, ship strikes, entanglements. I want a future that includes whales. #whales #ocean
