From Oct. 21-25 a large number of scientists from IRTG 2991 participated in the 13th Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Conference in Kochi, organized by K. George Thomas and his team from IISER Thiruvananthapuram.

The second hybrid scientific workshop on "Raman Spectroscopy and Artificial Intelligence" was organized at IISER TVM with online attendance of the IRTG2991 members from JMU. It was a pleasure to have Prof. S. Umapathy as a guest expert giving two lectures on this occasion!

The visit of Jibin (PhD student in the Hariharan group) was a great oportunity for the JMU PhD students to repay some of the excellent hospitality they experienced at IISER TVM. 😊
