As grateful that I am for social media and the fact that it make keeping in touch with my friends and family easier - I find that my life was so much less stressful before the advent social media.

In a NORMAL government, I feel that a commission could be made to cut government spending where possible - the committee could take a year to view all spending and make recommendations to cut the fat. Unceremoniously slashing depts is just making more mess and costing more $$ to fix it.

If the gutting of USAID was REALLY for "America First", why wasn't all of the food reallocated to US Schools, US homeless shelters and food banks instead of rotting at sea or transportation ports? It's really about screwing our allies, not about helping Americans.
