I wholeheartedly recommend having a sow feeder at floor level. Piglets of 14 days old are eating themselves fat without my effort. 6kg at 2 wk old. Some simple changes can make huge differences for weaning pigs.

After 4 years as editor-in-chief I can start thinking of compiling a book with the most useful or funny comments of the reviewer-author "conversation" in the revision note 🤣 Here is one: "We are content with leaving this sentence in place". Certainly not the best response but it gave a good laugh!
