A few weeks ago, I made the delightful discovery that my local co-op store carries everything I need and doesn't cost any more for groceries than shopping at a big store like Wal-Mart (a major #BDS target). Shopped local again yesterday. Bye-bye Wal-Mart!

It's tempting in these situations to assume that what happens overseas stays overseas. But remember that the migrants deported under the Alien Enemies Act were first designated and detained as "enemy aliens" operating within the United States. Remember also that Trump has used his migrant "invasion" theory to justify deploying the military in American cities. It took Attorney General Pam Bondi less than three months to issue a legal memo authorizing illegal Alien Enemy Act-based warrantless raids of your home if you're suspected of harboring migrants under the 1798 wartime authority. Today Trump turned the Carribean into his own personal battlefield and used the most powerful military in human history to kill 11 men who-as best as I can tell-were not even charged with, let alone convicted of, a crime. As Trump deploys more and more troops domestically in our streets, there is no reason to believe he will hold back on turning American cities into his own personal battlefield.
