What's in store for Australia if we persist with AUKUS
Surrounded by secrecy and unanswered questions, Australians are still in the dark as to what our country's persistence with the AUKUS agreement holds.

They will both expand war spending.

Independent campaigns were structured around an April 12 election – and the decision to go later has added roughly $250,000 to required spending in each seat.

I just keep thinking of the heartlessness of going to an election promising to sack 41,000 people just because they’ve chosen public service. The LNP talks of small business owners going out of business as a tragedy. How is sending thousands of people into unemployment not?

We have been calling for Australia to cut ties with the US war mongers for years.
Now is our chance.
They are not an appropriate ally, research or financial partner.
And no point waiting 4yrs for Trump to go away.
His regimes destruction is so careless and cruel it's unretrievable.

Fantastic move from Labor Against War ✌️

People say 'Oh we can't scrap #AUKUS because we have already spent so much'. Well that is a good reason to scrap it before we throw more money away.

Money we need for Cost of Living, Housing, Climate, bring Jobseeker to the poverty line.

The ship was carrying jet fuel for the US Airforce.

The crash has caused a “massive fireball” which is still burning now, over 29 hours later, and jet-fuel a carcinogen more flammable than diesel to pour into the sea.

There was no public debate about this decision and very little consideration by Labor about whether it was wise to adopt the Liberal deal.
