For the record I'd like to say I really hate what Microsoft has done to destroy technet and communities and whatever forums existed. It is somehow impossible to find or navigate anymore
Or maybe I'm just old and the "new way" of doing things works better in ways I just can't comprehend

Hi all,

Did I miss the announcement that #configmgr #memcm no longer exists? I can't find the product page or see it listed in communities anywhere.
Or has it got another new name?

Seeing the posts from @sccmcriticalcare.bsky.social in the hashtag feed reminded me why I spent so much time trying to convince people to stop calling #configmgr sccm

Help! In ConfigMgr admin service. I've bound an internal pki cert to using netsh. it works for about 5min before SMS_REST_PROVIDER log shows it being deleted and SMS issuing cert is rebound. The PKI cert is deleted from the server and has to be reissued!
Any suggestion why?

Hey all, been a minute since I was active here.
First thing is the feed for #configmgr #memcm is being migrated. Not sure if that will be disruptive or not, but we'll see

Looks like Microsoft has scrapped the Microsoft Action Pack and replaced it with way less stuff, or way more stuff but for way more money.
Has anyone realised yet how much we are all going to get screwed by moving everything to the cloud?

tfw you think things have been going so awesomely well for that last month before realising that it should have been "where >0" instead of ">1"

When will Microsoft add copilot to linkedin so it can automatically have conversations with recruiters and auto-tune my profile and resume without me needing to do anything

Has anyone sold a domain before? Any suggestions on best way to do it?
Currently registered through godaddy and wondering if I just use their "sell your domain" service or is there other easy options?

Is then w365 client thing going to be targeted at enterprise?
I'm aware of many organisations freaking out about how much their AVD costs have been creeping up and now trying to cut back, so would a device that effectively lock you in to cloud desktops be appealing in that view?

As someone who spent a LOT of time doing USMT profiles and configs for migrations in ConfigMgr, I'll be really curious to see how well this works. (it's REALLY HARD btw)
Will it move *ALL* their data, and also work for their Win32 apps?
I feel like we've been here before...

However, if this works to more seamlessly move users b/w devices, AVD, W365 etc., and back again, it could be very interesting #MicrosoftIgnite

My new bluesky handle is @ip1.au just in case anyone thinks it's an imposter.
I've also created a "new" profile with my old handle to prevent it being hijacked, but I won't be using it
