In 1947, America had the Hollywood Ten, who refused to cooperate with fascism.

In 2025, America will have the Hollywood Three, who will eagerly collaborate.

If people knew how often health corporations overcharged taxpayers, their heads would spin. I worked on one case where they were gouging active duty service members by overcharging for breast pumps. Just one of thousands of examples media.defense.gov/2023/Jul/31/...

I hear what you guys are saying about the Oscars, and how they're a celebration of life, and the show must go on, blah-blah-blah, so-on-and-so-forth. It all makes a degree of sense, but to me it still feels like Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Or in this case, wearing fancy clothes while LA burns.

Biden says the Equal Rights Amendment is law. What happens next is unclear
To come into effect, the constitutional amendment would need to be formally published or certified by the National Archivist who has declined to do so in the past. What happens now is unclear.

Trevor Noah: my mother always explained it, the traditional man wants a woman to be subservient, but he never falls in love with subservient women. He's attracted to independent women. He's like an exotic bird collector. He only wants a woman who is free because his dream is to put her in a cage.

We now know UnitedHealth—under Brian Thompson—illegally overcharged cancer patients for meds by more than 1000%.

What we don't know is how many cancer patients died or were financially ruined as a result?

What we demand to know is why that act isn't deemed corporate murder & where are the arrests?

this confirms something i have long suspected, which is that certain people are told that their professional and academic failures are because of “affirmative action” or “DEI” as a way to avoid difficult conversations about their mediocrity www.wsj.com/lifestyle/ca...
You Blamed DEI for Hurting Your Career. Now What?
For people who pin their failures on diversity, corporate America’s DEI retreat removes a barrier—or maybe an excuse.
