hello bluesky, ive got a question, on my game's discord a few people pointed out that the empty spots between hex tiles were annoying. so I moved hexes closer to each other, may i ask your opinion as well? #gamedev #crpg #rpg #talesofelondria #indiedev

Only a programmer can make a whole game on their own, even if it looks/sounds/plays crap. Tools exist to help other creatives to make games but ultimately you are going to need someone technical to make a game and that's why many indie studios have such a person at their core.

#update of the day
I added a small visual effect that triggers when a user clicks on the map. I chose not to work on the Hunter NPC today, as it requires some code refactoring and I need time to think about it.

I wish I could label users on bluesky, as an indie game dev sometimes I see accounts that I may want to work in the future among the accounts I follow. That would be great to just label them so that in the future I can look at them..Now I have to either remember or write it somewhere

Today, I made more progress on the Hunters feature in Tales of Elondria. Hunter NPCs can now initiate their hunting journeys by selecting a forest tile and moving towards it.
