Dear @zackpolanski.bsky.social thank you for being the brave soul you are and carving out a chink of hope in what can seem like a very bleak world at times. You have changed our pub conversations from doom and gloom to excited examples of your exploits. You are making a difference, we’re grateful.

The performance of Reform representatives in tv debates and the hosility shown them by audiences reveals Farage's party to be a one-trick-pony that can be defeated.

Reform are a one-trick-pony that can be defeated
The salience of immigration as an issue facing the UK is a result of media exposure and political discourse, rather than first-hand experiences.

Spent the afternoon working through guitar parts with New Starts guitarist Joely Smith. Album 2 being recorded in a few weeks. Everything she does is perfect for my songs. It’s weird for me being interested in guitars again after so many years ignoring them.

🚨Wow - this will be huge if it bears out. Exit polls show the pro-EU D66 party has WON the Dutch election.

The far-right PVV party of Geeet Wildsrs has lost 12 seats, according to exit polls.

Huge if true.

My hot take on this its great that the journalist acknowledges that the Green Party is at record membership, record polling and has huge momentum.

But why say "dentally challenged?"

Who or what is that serving?

The state of journalism.

I have written to Lisa Nandy, following her grossly misleading comments over the Maccabi Tel Aviv ban.

This is about a group of fans with a history of racism and violence. It is not about banning Jewish people - and any attempt to conflate the two is shameful.
