Is there anyone on bluesky who isn’t a massive celebrity, and/or who doesn’t have thousands of followers already? I haven’t felt this powerless and ignored since high school when I was the last one picked for the competitive hop scotch team. It’s an awful feeling.

These microblog sites seem a bit boring to me. Cookie cutter political opinion. Snarky troll with emotional issues. Broken algorithm that only pushes out idiotic or mundane content. It’s a winning formula for the media hungry masses, but really where is the heart?

Also, humans suck.

Tomorrow I’m filming in the snow. Maybe. We will see if I even make it up there. It’ll be a good opportunity for nature to try to kill me on ice though.

I'm going to keep posting #photography, and hope that people get distracted enough by the pretty things that they don't click on my biosite and figure out what a weirdo I am.
